Job Description We are looking to hire a PC Imaging Technician for a project through the end of the year to replace 300 old PCs and assist with standard PC tickets. This contract could be extended to deploy 1,000 machines within W11 for 2025, potentially leading to a contract-to-hire position. Travel Requirements: * Must be able to travel to multiple sites, with travel expenses covered. * Possible travel as far as Atlanta, Georgia. * Steel toe boots required for manufacturing floors. Role Responsibilities: * Create and set up imaging through PXE on new DELL hardware. * Support desktops/laptops, servers, network infrastructure, and provide hardware/software support to end users. Essential Duties: * Design, configure, install, and maintain network hardware, software, and telecommunications services. * Follow policies and procedures related to network hardware/software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup. * Create and maintain user accounts, directories, and security. * Respond to network user needs and questions, provide training, and resolve help desk issues. * Communicate standards for network, personal computers, and data use, operations, and security. * Install and test software upgrades, analyze network and memory utilization, and develop disaster recovery procedures. * Manage data backup hardware/software and media retention. * Research and evaluate new technologies, and coordinate with vendors. Skills Required: * PXE, shuttle, imaging, Dell, Windows, Help desk, Support, Customer service, Ticketing system, Windows server, System administration, Windows 7, troubleshooting, migration, hardware support, Desktop hardware, PC troubleshooting, Asset management, Outlook, Active Directory, Windows 10, Office 365, technical support, deployment, Desktop troubleshooting, Installation, Deployments. Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Ideal candidate shows upward career movement and growth. * Prefer candidates with help desk experience who have moved into desktop support. * Driven, hungry to grow, team player, and great customer service.
