We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our R&D organization of Keysight's Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions business. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading teams to deliver new products introduction and change requests projects that span across one or more departments, and business units, managing resources, schedules, cost, and adhering to quality control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This role requires a strong technical background and proficiency in project management methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
- Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects in collaboration with Keysight management and international customers.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Interface with customer to address technical requests, discuss specifications and requirements.
- Act as the single point of contact on all technical topics related to product specs and design.
- Lead the architects and design engineers to develop solutions to meet customer requirements and requests.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team
- Manage collaboration and lead the dFX design process such as design for cost, design for manufacturability, and design for cost quality involving all sector leads.
- Lead the internal and customer technical workshops related to product design.
- Manage the technical decision process on technology choices and options.
- Collaborate with various departments such as manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain to ensure cohesive product development.
- Oversee the creation of the detailed product specifications and technical documentation.
- Oversee the implementation of product features and ensuring quality control.
- Work with Keysight management to respond to risks and address technical challenges.
- Support the product lifecycle PLC process and deliverables including documentation.
- Share product development status with PMO and customers.
Qualifications
- BS, MS degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a high technology environment.
- Strong technical background with experience managing development of high technology products for the world's best semiconductor infrastructure solutions suppliers.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IC manufacturing solutions including Fabs and Cleanroom operations.
- Experience working with international teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
