Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer - Transporation intern in the San Antonio, TX area.

Join us for an internship experience that offers real-world project involvement within a supportive environment alongside ample opportunities for professional and personal growth. At this time, we are seeking 1 Transportation Interns in our San Antonio, TX office for the Summer semester (May/June-August). This internship will be a full-time position working 40 hours a week.

The Transportation Intern will work alongside the Woolpert infrastructure teams working on design of traffic projects as well as supporting our bridge and roadway projects. Work can include projects for TxDOT and local municipalities. All these projects directly impact the communities where we live and work.

* Work as part of the industry leading Transportation team.
* Gain real-world experience working on actual projects alongside Licensed Engineers that are experts in their fields.
* Assist on a variety of projects doing such things as analysis, plan production and cost estimation.
* Use industry leading applications such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
* Work as a member of a team that coordinates with other internal teams and external subconsultants and clients.
* Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence.

* Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status
* Pursuing a Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
