Responsible for leading the system development effort by providing vision to the team, outlining work in the product backlog and coordinating with the business owner to prioritize based on business value. Provides day to day direction for and answers the questions of the product team. Has overall responsibility for the product/system success in meeting the needs of the stakeholders.
Gathers, validates, translates and prioritizes business and technical needs into a logically sequenced product and feature roadmap Creates detailed product requirements and associated materials and ensure clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, usability, and development teams Serve as the subject matter expert for the system features and act as a system advocate across the organization Resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist Builds effective Product teams and inspires a shared vision, demonstrated leadership Acts as liaison to Project Manager for corporate projects, and to the business for enhancement or run the business user stories Coordinates and prioritizes product backlog Manages impacts to multiple publics and business areas, adjusting deliverables as needed Active participant in scrum ceremonies, including retrospective; works with the Scrum Master to develop and implement identified scrum process improvements Accepts or reject agile product teamwork results, coordinates work with other Product Owners Creates and delivers information at appropriate level for audience at all levels of the organization, including presentations and status updates. Represents the scrum team and the work of the team to product/system stakeholders. Recognizes risk triggers and impediments, clearly communicates situation and mitigations to agile teams, sponsors and stakeholders. Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of experience in leadership roles on business projects, demonstrating an understanding of project planning techniques and methodologies 4+ years of experience making business process recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis 4+ years of experience with business process analytics using Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams and workflow models Demonstrated ability to document, propose, negotiate and present approaches and solutions Ability to visualize and create plans for future business outcomes and changes Thorough understanding of business implications, project interdependencies and system interfaces Strong conflict management skills Proficient at facilitating meetings, and negotiating across all levels of the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment Proven ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties Preferred Skills Experience with Coupa implementations, system configurations, and administration and product support. Experience with the source-to-pay process and an understanding of the transitions between groups in the process. Some accounting knowledge. Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
