In doing so the Therapist acts as a role model and supervisor for junior staff and helps identify patients who have unmet occupational therapy needs. A Therapist is focused on expanding clinical knowledge and skills beyond the entry level and sharing this knowledge through in-services and participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The Therapist acts as a role model and may supervise other staff. This level of therapist seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice and begins to assume a leadership role receiving mentoring in this process.
