Job Summary

The transportation coordinator will be the competent figure to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of the JDP.

Main Activities:

- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Ensure facilities, assets and communications are used effectively.
- Utilization of logistics IT to optimize procedures.
- Communication with suppliers and distributor.
- Generation of KPI's for measurement of carrier services.
- Logistics invoicing review.
- Monitoring of import, export and distribution operations.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience with transportation providers.
*Logistics route planning.
*Technology management.
*Legislation and regulations.
*Customs regulations
- Soft skills to establish relationships with transportation partners and manage stress in a fast paced work environment.
- Disciplined, organized, results focused, analytical, results oriented.
- Negotiation skills
- Decision making; ability to evaluate all available options, even when time is limited.
- Team player.
- Solid knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of AEO certification.
- Intermediate-advanced Excel skills
- Intermediate-advanced English.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes.
- Industrial or Transportation Engineering background. Degree in Logistics.
- Experience in the automotive sector will be considered as a plus.
