The University of Virginia's School of Education and Human Development seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education to teach and provide content expertise for programs in special education. Opportunities are available both on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online during summer 2025 and the 2025-26 academic year. The successful candidate will possess a PhD in Education or Doctorate in Education specializing in Special Education or a related field. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Previous preK-12 and/or post-secondary education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred. Positions will be filled on an on-going and as needed basis according to curriculum needs and appointments are typically for teaching a single course. This is an at-will faculty wage position which does not carry benefits.
