- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the organizing and coordinating operational support for the Education department including: scheduling and staffing, productivity, documentation, performance improvement, and policies and procedures and maintains administrative duties for reporting, productivity, compliance and budget.
- Additional requirements include the ability to support the executive officer in the implementation of new programs and services, budgetary compliance and liaison activities.
- Accountable for complying with national standards and benchmarks in accordance with HMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, quality patient care.
- Responsible for the overall planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.
- Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the law and must demonstrate critical thinking, skills, scientific judgment and leadership in anticipating, delegating and planning.
- Global accountability and responsibility for all assigned areas and reports to an executive officer.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors, required
- Post Graduate Degree, preferred
- 1-3 years of clinical education experience, required
