Job Description

Pay Range: $13/hr-$16/hr

The Customer Experience Coordinator provides direct customer service to all visitors by proactively engaging customers and patients. This position represents the hospital appropriately to all "audiences" in a way that reflects well on the hospital's reputation and image. This position is responsible to assist any and all visitors in way finding, general service information, and customer experience. These functions will be accomplished by having a thorough knowledge and ability to navigate on behalf of the customer, clinical schedules, direct contact with physicians' offices, patient and customer process flows, and initial Baptist experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the initial greeter for all patients/visitors entering Andrews Institute
  • Customer service
  • Ensures necessary resources are available and usable in order to exceed customer expectations
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all services and activities that would impact a customer's experience.
  • Provides "Hospitality" to all patients/visitors.
  • Functions as an informational resource person.
  • Conducts periodic daily rounds to check on people in the waiting areas and lobbies, sets-up and secures equipment as needed.
  • Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job related hazards.
  • Follows the hospital exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
  • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and interdepartmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.


Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Minimum Work Experience

  • 1-3 years customer service, front desk or concierge experience Preferred and
  • healthcare experience Preferred
