Production Technician (Day Shift)

As a PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN supporting our MANUFACTURING SITE, you will be trusted with all aspects of production processes such as loading raw materials, performing lens inspections, improving yields, using calibrated measurement equipment, and tools such as sterilizers and tool drums at JOHNS CREEK MANUFACTURING in JOHNS CREEK, GEORGIA.

• Interact closely with lens inspectors to identify defects and perform corrective actions when needed.

• Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments, and conduct autonomous maintenance along with 5S duties.

• Coordinate downtime to ensure efficient use for maintenance and cleaning.

• Operate production equipment, perform lot changes and coordinate machinery downtime.

• Troubleshoot equipment faults and enter product and raw materials into MES and SAP databases.

• Work with engineers to execute equipment validations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

• Work hours: 36-48 hours per week (12-hour rotating Day shift (6:30am - 6:30pm): 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend)
