If you are located in Minneapolis or Minnetonka, MN, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

*** Candidate must be available to work in the office 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with the ability to work remotely 3 days per week ***

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead copywriting for B2B go-to-market initiatives for the organization's Employer & Individual business segment
  • Collaborate with art directors and designers to develop engaging concepts and content for multichannel campaigns, marketing collateral, video, thought leadership, presentations, websites and sales/training support
  • Develop strong relationships with marketing partners, the brand team and other stakeholders and ensure content is consistent with business partner creative briefs, strategy and business plans, and other inputs
  • Champion brand; ensure adherence to voice/tone and health literacy standards
  • Be able to work within the B2C space and adopt its voice
  • Monitor B2B campaign performance and advise leadership on copy strategies based on feedback and results
  • Ensure consistent administration of projects using the team's project and content management systems
  • Coach and provide creative review and feedback for other team members and agency partners as necessary deliverables, milestones and timing

Required Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of experience in copywriting and content development in an in-house Fortune 500 corporate and/or agency environment
  • Experience leading B2B branding and multichannel campaigns
  • A solid portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples that demonstrate versatility, creativity and an ability to adapt to various tones and audiences
  • Proficiency with project management/proofing tools such as Workfront
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with clients/organizations in the health care or insurance sectors
  • Experience in using technology/AI to deliver efficiencies


The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
