CDL Shred Driver

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform on-site document destruction of confidential material using mobile-based shredding equipment.
• Preparing paperwork neatly and accurately in accordance with all Company, Local, State, NAID, and Federal Policies.
• Perform the pick-up of customer material in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
• Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.
• Using wireless scanning technology and communication devices for service and communication purposes.
• A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed and some overnights, 45 hour work week.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 75 pounds.
• Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
• Continuously going into businesses and interacting with clients.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a valid Washington Class B CDL.
• Be able to pass a WA DOT medical certification upon hire.
• Have clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.
• Be able to pass a 7 year criminal history background check.
• 1+ years of face to face customer service as well as route transportation is preferred.
