Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the central transportation department within clinic.

Essential Functions:
-Supervise and provide leadership to the central transport team, including transporters and support staff.
-Recruit, train, and evaluate transport personnel, ensuring their compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
-Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure timely and efficient transportation operations.
-Coordinate and schedule transportation requests from various departments within the healthcare facility.
-Prioritize and allocate resources to meet transportation needs, including patients, medical equipment, supplies, and other materials.
-Ensure that transportation services are provided promptly and accurately.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Bachelor's Degree Health Administration preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Experience
Experience in transportation services, logistics, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting. 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and related technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
