Senior Lot Operations Specialist (Manheim)

This position provides customer service, processes paperwork, assists with scheduling and performs other administrative functions for the lot operations department. Oversees maintenance/security of lots for safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Primary Duties/Key Responsibilities :

  • Processes all Lot Operations' paperwork, forwarding invoices and items to be posted to appropriate areas in a timely manner.
  • Assists with coordination of sale day lineup and execution of sale day activities (e.g. drive, assist customers in locating vehicles).
  • Assists with the management of lot and office operations to ensure efficient operations and administration of pre- and post-sale.
  • Assists management with coordination of departmental scheduling, working with temporary agencies, serving as a point of contact for recording employee absences.
  • Acts as a liaison between clients and other departments in relation to operation functions.
  • Responds to customer requests for assistance and ensures timely resolution.
  • Maintains constant communications with commercial accounts, customer support, zone administrators, coordinators, and leadership to ensure effective coordination of lot operations activities.
  • Enters vehicle data into computer/data management system.
  • Follows all job-related safety and health procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.


Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience;
  • OR 7 years' experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AS400 systems.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Basic computer software skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • Ability to lift 1 - 30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.


USD 21.54 - 32.31 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.54 - $32.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
