Overview
CQ Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Field Training Program. This role is pivotal in equipping our national sales force with the product knowledge, sales strategies, and operational expertise needed to drive success. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in field sales training, franchise operations, or a similar role, and thrives in a "train-the-trainer" environment. Responsibilities
- Work directly with Account Managers to enhance the implementation and execution of the CQ Partners WAY, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving measurable results.
- Design, develop, and deliver a robust training program focused on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational excellence for the national sales force.
- Serve as a trusted partner to Account Managers and Regional Managers, building strong relationships based on trust, collaboration, and mutual accountability to deliver training to CQ Partners practice members.
- Utilize a systematic coaching process to observe, evaluate, and provide actionable feedback to improve individual and team performance.
- Adapt consulting approaches (e.g., directive, supportive, coaching, collaborative) to suit specific situations and relationships.
- Establish and maintain a structured visitation cycle to provide consistent coaching and training to Account Managers across the U.S.
- Play a key role in new hire sales training, including competitive selling strategies, customer engagement techniques, and product knowledge.
- May perform miscellaneous tasks and/or projects as directed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years in a relevant role, with a proven track record of driving growth through training and accountability.
- Exceptional ability to teach, influence, and inspire without direct positional authority.
- Advanced consulting and coaching skills to persuade and drive behavioral change.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to deliver clear direction and expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to analyze and interpret profit & loss statements.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% nationwide to conduct training and ensure program implementation. This role will be remote. You will need the following when working from home:
- Reliable and secure Internet Service Provider at home (no public WiFi) for duration of working hours
- Sufficient room to set up a laptop, monitors, keyboard and mouse
- Comfortable space to work for duration of working hours
- Quiet, private and secure space in which to work
