Interacoustics is seeking two (2) Per Diem Virtualis Clinical Educator(s) (1099 Contract) to provide customer training on our innovative Virtualis product lineup. This role involves independently conducting clinical training sessions after an onboarding period with the Clinical Rehabilitative Education and Training Specialist. The educator will offer at least two training options per month, with sessions ranging from one to two days, depending on the system configuration and education purchased by the customer.

We are hiring for two remote positions with extensive travel requirements:

Position One: This is a remote position with extensive travel required across the East Coast. The ideal candidate will be based on the East Coast and be willing to travel to various locations within the region.

Position Two: This is a remote position with extensive travel required across the Southern US. The ideal candidate will be based in the Southern US and be willing to travel frequently within the region.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy, at least 3 years of clinical experience with vestibular and balance diagnoses or neurologic disorders, and experience with Virtualis products or virtual reality is a plus.

Please note, we cannot guarantee a certain number of clinical trainings per month as there are many factors that contribute to the unpredictability of clinical training needs such as: sales, timing, product deliveries, scheduling conflicts etc... There could be months with no clinical trainings and others with 2, 3, or 4+. In the event you can do more than two, that's great!

As a Per Diem member of the Virtualis team, you will be ineligible to participate in healthcare and PTO benefits


Responsibilities

  • Be an active participant during clinical educator onboarding process and be self-directed in preparation for independent teaching activities.
  • Travel to new client sites to provide onsite training and/or perform virtual training, as and when needed.
  • Assist with installation and/or technical support troubleshooting, when applicable.
  • Submit a post training summary report provided by and sent to the Clinical Rehabilitative Education and Training Specialist.
  • Keep a client sign in training log.
  • Get training completion document signed by client and emailed back to Clinical Rehabilitative Education and Training Specialist.
  • Have clients complete the clinical training evaluation and feedback form.
  • Attend tradeshows/conferences, as needed.
  • Grow the business and promote the sale of Virtualis' Products by all lawful means at its disposal within the United States.
  • Accurately represent and state Interacoustics' policies to all potential and present customers.
  • Inform the manager of problems concerning customers within the United States and resolve issues with the assistance of an Interacoustics employee.
  • Demonstrate Fiscal responsibility when planning all business trips and obtain approvals as outlined in the contract.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical (or clinical residency) experience treating patients with vestibular and balance diagnosis and/or neurologic disorders.
  • Experience with Virtualis products and/or virtual reality a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able maintain clear driving record.

Travel:

  • This position is subject to travel up to 75% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
  • Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
  • Must pass Drug Test.
