About the practice: Established in 1950, this family practice is owned by the founder's son, Dr. Robert (Bob) Day, Jr. and has provided fullservice optometry to families for over 75 years and specializes in cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and contact lenses. Having just completed remodelling, Broadway Eye Center is looking to grow its staff. As a long-standing business in the community, this practice focuses on providing patients with quality vision solutions and exceptional customer service. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-thescenes functional technology that includes digital retinal imaging, high-definition OCT, Humphrey and Virtual visual fields, and automated phoropters. Patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of optical frames from our Broadway Optical. What you'll do: The practice is seeking a part-time/full-time Associate Doctor of Optometry who genuinely cares about the patient experience and is dedicated to providing the 5-star service that Broadway Eye Center's patients know and expect. In this role, you will perform eye exams for vision and ocular health, design contact lens, consult with optician about eyewear, craft the practice's social media and be involved in the Garland area community. The current office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday with plans to offer additional days with the additional doctor. The Associate will work up to 4 days. For the right candidate, future purchase opportunity will be available. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
