Launch your career at JLL! This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth. You will work as part of an integrated facilities management team at multi-million sq ft world headquarters for a JLL client.

Title: Business Services Ambassador (This is a floater position)

Location: North Austin / Round Rock, TX
Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Reporting To: Lead Business Services Coordinator

Estimated compensation: $16.63+ an hour

The Business Services Ambassador provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This role will be responsible for greeting guests, providing badges for all guests while adhering to Security protocol, and following the required dress code.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Greeting clients, internal and external, and making them feel welcomed
  • Signing in guests and employees that may have forgotten their access badges
  • Following client policies/procedures are followed
  • Good communication and rapport between coworkers
  • Greet/host/provide support for guests and employees
  • Issue badges to visitors and assist employees if they forget their badge
  • Gaining knowledge of building layouts
  • Answer all in-coming calls via phone and Teams messages
  • Update Critical Contact List
  • Respond and follow through to requests for information and communicate with all levels of management with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain and update SOPs following established guidelines.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating to peers and cross functional customer on a regular basis.
  • Resolve problems associated with all building services including janitorial, parking, badging, and conference rooms.
  • Submit Work Orders when required.
  • Provide operational support through varied informational processing activities that supports a specific business need.
  • Walking the building to do routine safety/maintenance inspections, working on Excel spreadsheets, online trainings, and other assignments that may be requested by the client
  • Cover lunches and breaks for seated BSC's.
  • Pick up desk/badging supplies for the seated BSC's as needed.
  • This position will apply to our Parmer and Round Rock client campuses and will change for the needs of the business.
Required experience and skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1)+ year of proven customer service/client facing work experience OR successful completion of an associate's degree can be considered equivalent to work experience
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Outlook).
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Computer literate and able to type at least 40 words per minute (WPM)
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude in difficult situations
