POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Management Systems Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of the quality system data and its components. This position will ensure data is available for entry and reviewed by managers and key staff members for accuracy. This role will also maintain the data entered into the quality system to achieve quality reports across all departments and will notify department managers of any QMS issues. CORE FUNCTIONS
- Maintain the quality reporting program for gathering data and presenting data to management in an organized method. This includes data entry and record management.
- Review and analyze data for the quality program to recognize OE portal improvements for proper surveillance of the OE portal scorecard.
- Oversee OE portal documentation maintenance by monitoring all OE scorecards for compliance. Gather and maintain all OE and Aftermarket MDI concerns and disposition.
- Coordinate, provide input, and participate in quality specification and analysis with existing products and the launch of new products. Identify and analyze continuous quality improvement in OE portals.
- Serve as the lead administrator of the LPA database. Report results to management weekly.
- Serve as an internal auditor for ISO 9001:2015. Provide coaching to shop floor workgroups.
- Follow the direction of the Quality Manager in all other tasks needed to support the department as it supports the customers, both internally and externally.
- Report on scrap, repair, and yield for all OE and Aftermarket production teams.
- Manage IMDS submissions and support new programs, meeting program management timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2+ years of proven data collection experience required.
Required Licenses
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of database software and charting data in Excel and Mini Tab.
- Ability to write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Ability to translate Spanish using Google Translator.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to understand MDI issues, PDCA, 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagrams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position is subject to light work; Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
