Job Description: Manufacturing Technician - Contract - 2nd Shift The Role: Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the team in our Microcontamination Control division. This position will be located at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems and subassemblies in a class 100 cleanroom work environment. This will include but not limited to: mechanical and electrical assembly based on engineering drawings and/or work instructions while wearing required cleanroom garments and protective equipment. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. ***This is a 1-year contract position with the potential to convert to direct-hire. In this role you will:
- Works from instructions, drawings, schematics, piping and instrumentation drawings, illustrations, and process documentation to assemble a variety of mechanical, electrical subassemblies and systems with supervision.
- Ability to work in Class 100 (ISO 5) environment wearing the appropriate required garments.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Ability to build sub-assemblies with supervision.
- Install tube fittings using VCR, and Compression fittings with supervision.
- Follow engineering and customer requirement specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
- Performs routine, repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
- Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
- Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.
- Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
- Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
- Work with a team as well as independently when needed.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years' experience mechanical assembly and/or relevant experience.
- Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
- Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Ability to learn how handle material responsibly.
- Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
- Ability/willingness to work 2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm pst.

- Compensation: $23-25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
- Shift differential if applicable.
