Job Summary

Under limited supervision the Technical Product Manager (TPM) III is responsible for: Leading development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, considering product life cycle stage and the customer experience. Has extensive knowledge on the product's features and capabilities, understanding the complexities and limitations of the product. Tracks and modifies end-user usage to ensure maximum value at minimum cost, manages the product backlog and roadmap, and serves as the primary liaison to the internal and external product stakeholders. Collaborates with product and engineering teams to lead product integrations and deliver valuable product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Backlog & Execution Leadership

  • Own and manage the team backlog, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Prioritize features and technical debt, ensuring smooth execution in iteration and program increment (PI) planning.
  • Work with Scrum Masters and Agile teams to break down features into smaller, incremental deliverables.
  • Ensure that the backlog supports platform scalability, API extensibility, and webhook performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Work with multiple Product Managers to intake, prioritize, and refine platform demands.
  • Act as the bridge between Product and Engineering, ensuring clarity in technical requirements and feasibility.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Operations to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for API and webhook-related product decisions.

Leadership in Conflict & High-Performing Culture

  • Lead with confidence in high-stakes discussions, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and stakeholders.
  • Navigate and resolve conflicts proactively, advocating for best practices in API-first development and platform scalability.
  • Be a culture advocate, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement, helping the team refine processes and work more efficiently.

Technical & Platform Management

  • Ensure that platform APIs and webhooks are well-documented, reliable, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering & Data Science teams to ensure high-quality data products.
  • Partner with engineering to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
  • Monitor API performance, webhook reliability, and data pipeline efficiency, ensuring optimal platform performance.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalency in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, Computer Science/Technologies or related field.

Minimum Experience:

Three to four (3-4) years of experience in Technical Product Management, Technical Product Ownership, or API/Product Development.

  • Strong understanding of webhooks, APIs, event-driven architecture, and data platforms.
  • Proven experience in backlog management, feature refinement, and sprint execution in an Agile environment.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to lead discussions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Java, Json, PowerBI, GraphQL, and API documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with MS Azure cloud platforms and DevOps (ADO) practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Agility, Product Board, Planview, or similar Agile product management tools.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms and software engineering workflows.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.
