Imperial Supplies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Automotive Market Manager to drive growth and execution across our Automotive Market channel. This role will be responsible for supporting and executing our sales strategies, customer rollouts, and go-to-market initiatives within the automotive industry.

Reporting to the Vice President of New Business Development, the Automotive Market Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, field sellers, and customers to ensure the successful implementation of business strategies while maximizing revenue and customer value.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and support large customer rollouts, ensuring alignment across all business functions.
  • Participate in strategy development and execute rollout plans for customer platforms.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the VP of New Business Development on resource management and business scope.
  • Develop and grow the Automotive Market, including automotive dealerships, auto repair, and collision centers.
  • Partner with field sales teams to engage and close new business opportunities.
  • Execute market strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams to drive customer engagement.
  • Understand customer needs and develop strategic initiatives to support market growth.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management to implement value-added services and maximize revenue.
  • Communicate key industry trends and opportunities across the sales organization.
  • Recommend new products, pricing, sales promotions, and advertising strategies in partnership with Procurement and Marketing.



Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience with cross-functional project management.
  • Strong ability to manage communication across multiple departments and stakeholders.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive business development experience in sales and project management.

  • Ability to execute projects across multiple business functions.
  • Proficiency in business financials and goal-setting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and balance priorities.
  • Expertise in presentation development and delivery.



Physical & Travel Requirements



  • Majority of time spent sitting, with some standing and walking.
  • 30-40% travel required for customer meetings and business development initiatives.
