We are looking for a Director to lead the development and implementation of security and fraud prevention features within our web and mobile applications. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution to build robust security measures that proactively detect and prevent fraud, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.

As a leader, you will oversee a team of product managers, product owners and/or business analysts and foster collaboration between engineers, data scientists, designers, and security/risk/compliance teams. You will drive product development, implement security/fraud strategies, and manage the team's performance and growth

What you'll be doing

Product & Roadmap:

Define the roadmap, features, user stories and release plan involved in integrating the security and fraud solutions
• Implement security and fraud requirements in web and mobile applications based on the strategy and vision set by the security team
• Prioritize security initiatives tobalance user experience with security and fraud prevention.
• Develop and implement security and fraud management tools/features likemulti-factor authentication (MFA), bot detection, risk-based authentication, bank account verification and anomaly detection.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead andmanage a team of product managers/product owners/business analysts, ensuring clear goals, priorities, and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and UX teams to drive seamless security feature development.
• Providementorship and coachingto team members, fostering a culture of innovation and security-first thinking.
• Manage product development timelines, removing roadblocks, and ensuring teams stay aligned with objectives.

Execution & Optimization:

• Work with engineering teams to integratefraud detection models, identity verification tools, and AI-driven security solutions.
• ConductA/B testing and experimentationto optimize fraud detection accuracy while minimizing false positives.
• Implement tools and best practices in areas of security and fraud prevention based on strategies defined by the security team
• Collaborate with product managers and other members of the product team to develop programs to execute strategy, manage roadmaps, enable sales and define/track product metrics.
• Work across all functional areas to define the go-to-market strategy, collaborating on product positioning key benefits, functions, usability and messaging for target customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-ordinate UAT, business readiness and launch planning activities

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
• 10+ years of product management experience in digital applications
• 5+ years of experience managing teams of product managers
• Strong preference for prior experience in implementing security and fraud features in web and mobile applications
• Excellent communication skills with the ability toinfluence and align teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to prioritize across competing priorities.
• Background in basic security/risk/fraud concepts (MFA, KYC, RBA...) and experience implementing security/fraud tools (Plaid, Transmit, Pin Drop...) highly preferred
• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or industries with high fraud risk preferable

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
