LOCATION: Remote - this is a home based, virtual position that operates within the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm on US Eastern Standard Time (EST). GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB The Delegation Oversight Analyst supports organizational oversight and management of subcontractors performing delegated functions (delegates) pursuant to a written delegation agreement with Vaya Health (Vaya). Responsible for ensuring delegates meet all accreditation and NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) requirements, prior to contract implementation and on an ongoing basis. This position works in collaboration with all departments at Vaya to oversee subcontractors performing delegated functions and acts as a source of knowledge regarding delegation oversight. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Delegation Oversight:
- Schedule and assist with pre-delegation and annual assessments, in collaboration with the Delegation Oversight and Risk Management Program Director and departmental contract owners to ensure readiness and the ability of delegates in managing all applicable aspects of the scope of work in which they will be contracting under.
- Assist in updating and maintaining delegation oversight policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with external requirements.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the BH I/DD Tailored Plan Operating Plan in regard to delegates performing core Medicaid and State-funded operations.
- Assist in the development of delegation audit tools and participate in delegation audits to ensure ongoing compliance with all contract and accreditation requirements.
- Assist in tracking of all delegation oversight activities within electronic vendor relationship platform.
- Assist the Delegation Oversight and Risk Management Program Director and departmental contract owners, to create annual delegation reports for each delegate performing core Medicaid and State-funded operations and submit on an annual basis to the state for review and approval.
- Partner with the Delegation Oversight and Risk Management Program Director and departmental contract owners to ensure issues are addressed and managed timely and any plans of correction are implemented fully.
- Assist in the development and updating of delegation oversight training materials.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Participation in committees and/or workgroups as directed.
- Assist with collection of documentation for external reviews and/or annual risk assessments as directed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in Business, English, Human Resources, Psychology, or other relevant field and five years' practical experience in technical/business writing, auditing, performance improvement, compliance, delegation oversight, or policy development and maintenance.
OR
- Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Human Resources, Psychology, or other relevant field and two years of practical experience in technical/business writing, auditing, performance improvement, compliance, delegation oversight, or policy development and maintenance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparation and analysis of documents; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
- Physical activity in this position includes crouching, reaching, walking, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Sedentary work with lifting requirements up to 10 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time.
- Mental concentration is required in all aspects of work.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: The person in this position must reside in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, or FL. SALARY: Depending on qualifications & experience of candidate. This position is exempt and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
