AHMC Activities Coordinator

Coordinator is responsible for organizing, planning and running recreational and social activities for the residents of the Assisted Living Program Facility. The program will encourage the residents' voluntary choice of activities and participation. The program will ensure a vital link between the facility and the greater community.High School graduate. Current record of continuing education credit School graduate. Current record of continuing education credit pertinent to activity profession. Must be eligible for certification as an Activity Director Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or have two (2) years of experience in an age - appropriate social or recreational program within last five years, one of which was full-time in a patient or resident activities program in a health care setting.
