Job Description The Account Executive - Group Sales is responsible for selling new group ticket accounts and retaining a portion of group ticket accounts that they personally sold from previous years. This position will also be responsible for generating group ticket sales by bringing in new accounts and maintaining a relationship with these accounts in order to retain them annually. Additional responsibilities include provide ongoing communication via telephone, e-mail, mail and ticket system technology driven platforms including CRM, generate new business through calling prospects assigned through the lead model, lapsed Group Seat Holders, and accumulated leads from past groups, and promote sale of new and renewal group tickets. Maintain contact with all renewed group ticket accounts as well as all premium hospitality accounts to provide superior service with focus of retaining accounts from year-to-year
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous sales experience preferred. Computer Skills To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Work Hours Business hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00 pm, however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays. Must work all home games. |
