The Team

You will join the Customer Compliance Team, which is focused on building trust with customers through sharing information about Cloudflare's security program and policies. We assist our Customers, Sales teams, and Legal teams to understand Cloudflare's security posture. You will develop into an SME via continuous research and learning about Cloudflare's products, services, infrastructure and security measures, and use that knowledge to help our team meet Cloudflare's goals.

What you'll do



  • Contribute to public-facing documentation in the form of white papers, customer-facing policies, and other resources that can be shared with customers on security overviews, SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and other security/compliance topics
  • Develop and maintain answers to common customer questions about Cloudflare security, compliance certifications, and evolving privacy/security regulations
  • Respond to customer requests including contributing to RFPs, completing security questionnaires, and meeting with customers to answer their security questions.
  • Streamline or automate current processes to deliver responses to customer questions more efficiently.
  • Be the first point of contact and subject matter expert in the region in all relevant Customer Security Compliance issues.
  • Assist legal with security and privacy terms in contract negotiations.
  • Leverage your expertise to enhance existing processes.


Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience



  • 5-10 years of experience in security compliance. Audit management, contracting, and consulting experience are preferred. Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across many teams including Sales, Legal, Product, and Engineering
  • Work efficiently as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong English communication and writing skills, including presentations and organizing and publishing content for public web pages
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and RFP/deal management tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of privacy principles and regulations a major plus
