Cardiac Sonographer II Full Time Day

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs professional, technical and administrative duties of cardiac ultrasound procedures using specialized ultrasound equipment at an intermediate level.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound or cardiovascular ultrasound program. Current and valid ARDMS/CCI registry in Adult Echocardiography.

EXPERIENCE:
Two to five years of cardiac sonography experience and/or the competent performance of the details of this description. Current BLS/CPR certification. Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification (RDCS, RCS).

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Combines critical thinking and analytical skill to solve multi-tiered problems. Ability to absorb new information quickly and translate into daily clinical or administrative practice. Thrives in a fast paced, fluid environment. Sets individual or junior staff priorities to meet STAT, urgent, and routine needs. Steps in with little background and performs competently. Detail oriented. Cooperative team player. Effective oral, written and personal interaction skills.
