We are seeking a Laboratory Technician/Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

ESN is looking for Electronics Technician position established in the Combat Systems Test and Evaluation Department. The candidate will serve as a Senior Electronics Technician for the In-Service System Engineering Small Combatants Branch. This position provides management and oversight of the Unmanned Operation Center (UOC) lab through space management, equipment assessments, operator and maintenance training, and fleet events. The candidate will be responsible for Communications Security (COMSEC). The technician is required to be knowledgeable with equipment assessments, operator and maintenance training, and fleet events. The candidate will administer procedures to employees ensuring proper handling, transmission, safeguarding, storage, shipment, and destruction of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), Keying Material (KEYMAT), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Confidential, and Secret assets, material, and records.

Qualifications:

The position requires an understanding of project engineering, especially in combat system issues. Knowledge in the design,

development, operation, and analysis of combat and weapon systems is necessary, gained through education and experience. This

includes familiarity with combat systems, basic computer specifications, and new technologies in weapons and sensors. A strong

grasp of engineering concepts is vital.

Education Requirement:



  • High School Diploma
  • AS/BS degree in engineering, computer science or other relevant field helpful but not required.


Other Job-Related Requirements:



  • Work is within a laboratory environment.


Security Clearance:



  • Must hold an active DoD SECRET clearance or at a minimum an Interim SECRET clearance.
