Shift Details:

Pay: $15-$18 per hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: We ask that candidates who apply have flexible availability and be able to work morning and night shifts as needed

Essential Functions:

The Chef is responsible for ensuring all products meet recipe standards and maintaining proper production levels to meet daily demand. This role involves managing staffing levels based on production volume, ensuring proper handling and storage of food items in compliance with internal policies and Health Department regulations, and upholding integrity in food preparation, portioning, and labor control. The Cook follows and enforces all company policies and procedures while providing support by relieving line cooks as needed. Additionally, this position includes assisting with ordering supplies, making inventory recommendations, and coaching team members for success by providing guidance and corrective action when necessary.

Requirements: Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of experience, comprehensive knowledge of all applicable food preparation methods and measurements, and familiarity with all phases of food preparation techniques. Proficiency in garde manger, broiler, saute stations, saucier, and large-scale cooking following recipe specifications and a strong understanding of cooking tools and measurement conversions is essential. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with diverse cultural backgrounds, are required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership abilities, including giving direction, assigning tasks, and ensuring follow-through.
