About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a global team of Talent Sourcers and leaders who are responsible for qualifying and matching candidates to defined profiles and specific open requisitions for Sales & Conferences.
  • Partner with Sales and Conferences Leadership Teams and key business stakeholders on alignment, sourcing strategy, and business needs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Sales and Conferences businesses, their needs, and goals aligned to Gartner's MCPs. With your team, build creative sourcing strategies to find quality talent, reduce time to fill, support BU economics, impact hires/maintain an appropriate % of actionable open roles across BUs, with a continuous focus on DE&I

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, manage, inspire, and motivate the Sales & Conferences Global Sourcing team.
    • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, performance, development (including supporting IDP creation) and coaching.
    • Build and drive an engaging, inclusive, and collaborative culture across the team.
    • Identify opportunities for team training based on team needs.
    • Identify and build leadership bench within your team.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Conferences LT and their Recruiting leaders to align on Sourcing needs across their BU's. Fully understand roles & market challenges, recruiting specifications, and develop appropriate sourcing strategies with a consistent focus on DE&I to meet hiring targets.
  • Work with your direct leadership team to ensure a strong strategy for actively sourcing candidates aligned to the appropriate BU/skill-based pools. Utilize all tools and channels, including our DE&I tools, events, and partnerships, to form a knowledge base of where to find the best candidates for each role. Conduct market mapping as required.
  • Ensure critical feedback loop on specific knowledge, skills, and abilities for roles and adjust sourcing strategies as needed. Ensure profile alignment to market and any market challenges are addressed and managed as appropriate, and act as a point of escalation as challenges arise.
  • Continually manage and monitor your team's workload, adjusting as required for optimal performance.
  • Ensure your entire team has clarity on and is actioning "talent pooling" and "candidate cultivation" with continuous filling of the Beamery skill-based pools and required pipelines with a targeted and organized strategy/plan for cultivation. Using Beamery consistently for these activities
  • Support your leaders in helping your IC team foster trust-based, value-added relationships with the Recruiters they partner with
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing leadership teams across TA to support sourcing initiatives and drive consistency in performance.
  • Create, lead, and drive a strong candidate-centric focus across the team, including timely communication to all candidates.
  • Manage your team's overall data integrity within the applicant tracking system and CRM (i.e., Beamery & Workday) and drive timely entry within systems to ensure 100% system hygiene and accurate reporting.
  • Meet your aligned TA goals.

What you will need:

  • Previous management experience with proven ability to attract, lead, motivate, and inspire a team of recruiting associates. Ideally with experience in leading leaders
  • Strong understanding of Recruiting, with proven capability to build creative sourcing strategies to attract direct applicants and source passive talent.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills; with the ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and simply to stakeholders.
  • Sense of urgency, able to handle the volume of tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, structured environment, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills, with proven ability to partner, influence, and create trust-based, value-added relationships in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Good capabilities in managing HC and resourcing allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to model, influence, and manage the team to maintain rigor in process, compliance, and operational expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use applicant tracking system, CRM, and recruiting tools.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
