The Talent Acquisition Representative II performs recruiting support and administration duties including using Workday applicant tracking system. Serves as a first point of contact for job candidates when visiting our Omaha office. Maintains various Human Resources records and produces reports. Conducts candidate phone screens to assist in the recruiting process. Assists with engaging in established partnerships with colleges/universities and coordinate activities related to Career Fairs and other related college/university events. Monitors and updates candidate pools within ATS. Serves as an effective Company representative using excellent customer service skills. Maintains strict confidentiality. This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE and is eligible for Hybrid work. What will you do?
- RECRUITING SUPPORT AND TESTING: Performs recruiting duties including using the recruiting applicant tracking system. Assists with Scheduling candidates for in-office and/or remote testing. Arranges for applicant travel as directed by recruiters and confirms arrangements with applicants. Serves as a point of contact for job candidates when visiting our Omaha office. Assists with the administration of applicant testing, scheduling remote testing and maintains testing results. Assists with maintaining recruiting records in the recruiting applicant tracking system, Excel, SharePoint and Adobe. Operates within compliance of EEO, ADA and other applicable employment laws.
- HR RECORDS AND BILLING SUPPORT: Performs administrative support duties for department. Creates, edits, and updates Talent Acquisition procedures related to recruiting and candidate assessments processes. Maintains various Human Resources records and produces reports, such as recruiting metrics and job openings spreadsheet. Assists with contingent billing process related to invoice generation from the Vendor Management System. Maintains temporary agency data in spreadsheets and folders, and monthly reports.
- ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Assist with the development and management of prospects within the applicant tracking system as well as the use of online applicant systems to import prospects for the purpose of sourcing by the recruitment staff. Will communicate with, gather information, and track current intern educational institutions, academic majors, and anticipated graduation data. Will use current intern data to communicate openings with interns. May engage social media outlets for market intel, branding, networking, etc.
- JOB POSTINGS: Posts approved internship roles to appropriate college career services' internet sites, various Internet job boards and print publications. Checks the accuracy of internal job postings to match the current requisition based on approved job requisitions. May assist Recruiters with drafting internal and external job postings.
- TALENT ENGAGEMENT: Will assist in conducting initial phone interviews with candidates. Will coordinate Career Fair registrations. Will attend Careers Fairs, Employer Partner days, Meet the Firms, and other university talent engagement events along with other members of Talent Acquisition to communicate information about companies and employment opportunities. Will create and update directory of college/university contacts for the purpose of coordinating engagement opportunities with the Director Talent Acquisition. Will coordinate with local college/universities contacts for summer housing for departments and Insurance Operations Summer Intern program for housing opportunities. May assist in sourcing process to identify potential candidates, tag or allocate to pool, as well as communication via the recruiting applicant tracking system to invite applicants to apply for positions. Will assist with talent pool creation from Career Fairs and other related events.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Two or more years work experience.
- Applicant Tracking Software experience
