Shared Services: IS App Technical Services- (Full-Time, Day Shift) - Job Summary: The Programmer Analyst Sr is responsible for designing, implementing, development and maintaining integration solutions across our enterprise application portfolio. Leads and coordinate workflow-related issues/design, build and test interfaces between disparate systems, and support production solutions. The Integrated Data Delivery Sr. Engineer leads and facilitates defining/documenting requirements using structured analysis methods and coordinates data analysis and design training sessions, as needed. This position demonstrates strong technical leadership and communications skills, delivers technical solutions to business problems, interacts successfully and effectively within the IT department, with Business Analysts, business SMEs and leaders. Position requires strong technical knowledge in all areas of system development life cycle, database management and requires extensive experience with using development tools such as Cloverleaf, WebLogic, Apache, Tuxedo, other integration engines, internet protocols, and mobile web deployment. This role will also require experience with Web Development tools including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XSL as appropriate. Shows documented experience in HL7 and other IEE/integration standards. Must be able to demonstrate experience in multiple software products, languages and databases, experience with applications such as Sun Products (E-gate, ICAN, JCAPS), Cloverleaf, Quovodax, Neon, etc. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum 5 years' experience required, preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience with Interface Engine development in tools such as: Cloverleaf, Mirth, Rhapsody or others is preferred. Experience in Scripting programming languages such as TCL, JavaScript, AIX or Unix scripting is preferred. Experience integrating business processes, HL7 standards, JSON, XML data format, CCDA, and other healthcare-required data interchange is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of application development, SQL-based database systems, writing SQL queries, and deploying and supporting application solutions is preferred. Knowledge of related business procedures and practices in addition to the technical aspects of the application they support. Ability to work with business reps and apply business expertise to ensure quality and accuracy in articulating the business needs into technical integration requirements. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge in project planning and management, milestone tracking and execution using management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools for task tracking and team collaboration efforts. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Ability to work effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers. Excellent analytic, communication, and documentation skills. Licensures and Certifications: As a requirement of this position you must complete Loma Linda University (LLUH) Proficiency within the designated application(s) and/or module(s) you are hired into. This LLUH proficiency must be achieved within the initial 90-day probationary period or as agreed upon with management. Other systems certification requirements may apply, and will be discussed during application and hiring process.
