Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls service offerings to building owners, primarily targeting the Director level. Your role involves promoting the Johnson Controls value proposition through technical solutions and operational expertise. You will build and maintain long-term relationships with target and managed accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction. The position focuses on renewable service agreements as the foundation for managed account relationships. You will execute the sales process to cultivate relationships and actively seek out, qualify, and close new sales opportunities monthly. Additionally, you will work to expand the scope of Johnson Controls offerings within accounts.

How You will achieve this

  • Sell Johnson Controls offerings confidently and persuasively to building owners at the Director level while achieving optimal profit margins.

  • Focus on enhancing existing buildings to meet the business objectives of the owners.

  • Manage ongoing opportunities with an emphasis on selling services and retrofits.

  • Renew and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year contracts, for both new and existing clients.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers to facilitate the sale of Johnson Controls services.

  • Actively listen and identify customer concerns.

  • Understand and communicate effectively in the customer's language.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experience.

  • At least one year of successful experience selling HVAC or building automation system services or projects.

  • Commitment to integrity and quality in business practices.

  • Strong initiative and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to influence decision-makers at key account levels.
