About the role:

The Global Retention Programs team are experts in ensuring that Gartner's largest clients retain and grow their business with the company. The team acts as internal consultants to Sales and Service leaders, and also plays a critical role in providing Gartner's Operating Committee with regular recommendations, insights and opportunities to shape the company's retention and growth strategy.

What you will do:

  • Lead cross-functionally to improve retention and growth within Gartner's largest, most strategic accounts
  • Develop operational processes to standardize and simplify procedures within 80+ person team, innovating, automating and leveraging AI where possible
  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives, with insights to the Operating Committee
  • Influence senior leaders within Gartner, with regular interactions across Sales / Service / Research and Product GVPs
  • Challenge team to innovate client-facing processes, deliverables, and advise on successful strategies to influence account team's actions and success rate with clients
  • Enable direct reports to drive enterprise-wide insights and workstreams at OC-level
  • Coach team of increasing size/global remit on best practices related to standardization/scaling

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's required, MBA or master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years relevant business experience including successfully leading strategic transformation initiatives, plus:
  • 4+ Management Consulting experience in a leading global firm
  • 4+Business Transformation experience working with senior executives
  • Strong leadership experience. Consultative and influence skills at executive level.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with senior-level Consultants and Executives
  • Politically astute; able to navigate complex organizations; demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence in a cross functional, matrixed team environment
  • Strategic thinking with the ability and experience to develop, implement and document strategies and execution plans for long term initiatives
  • Must be highly motivated, goal and results oriented, demonstrates a bias for action and disciplined execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively; anticipate problems and opportunities; develop and implement vision
  • Effective change agent, can lead change, think out of the box, & make new ideas happen. Ability to communicate vision and strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong cross-functional relationships
  • High energy individual with superior verbal & written communication & presentation skills; ability to communicate at executive levels inside and outside the company

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 158,000 USD - 221,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
