Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking a Marketing/Outreach Coordinator (Eligibility Specialist) to lead community engagement efforts while managing the eligibility process for transportation services. This role is responsible for promoting MV Transportation's services, fostering partnerships, conducting outreach events, and overseeing the eligibility verification process for riders. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for public engagement and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Outreach:

    Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote MV Transportation's services.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events, presentations, and community meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and local agencies.
  • Create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media content, and press releases.
  • Represent MV Transportation at community fairs, business expos, and government meetings.
  • Track and analyze outreach efforts to assess effectiveness and make necessary improvements.

Eligibility Coordination:

  • Manage the eligibility process for transportation services, including application intake, verification, and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with eligibility criteria and program guidelines.
  • Conduct interviews, assessments, and follow-ups with applicants.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of applicants and eligibility decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline eligibility workflows.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility requirements and assist customers in the application process.


Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in marketing, outreach, community engagement, or eligibility coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse communities.
  • Proficient in design programs such as Canva or Adobe Creative.
  • Experience with public speaking, presentations, and event coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
