As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in advancing our next-generation cell analyzers and sorters. Your expertise will drive innovation and ensure the highest performance and reliability of our instruments.

  • Lead technical product development, verification, and validation (V&V) of flow cytometry instruments.
  • Assess design feasibility and test product functionality
  • Develop test methods and protocols to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for complex instruments.
  • Collaborate across Systems and R&D teams to drive product improvements.
  • Deliver feedback on software workflows and instrument performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Immunology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering and flow cytometry (including sorting) in academic, pharma, CROs, or industry settings.
  • Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting cell analyzers and sorters.
  • Comfortable working in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) environment.
  • Proficiency in multi-parameter flow cytometry applications and experiment design.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in flow cytometry principles and applications (>12 colors)
  • Risk management and design transfer experience
  • Familiarity with multiple sorter platforms, including Cytek Aurora & Spectro-Flo software
  • Experience leading a small team (3-4 members)
  • Proven track record in requirements testing and product development
What to Expect in Your Work Environment

This role requires working with biological materials (human blood/cells), high-energy lasers, and voltage-based instrumentation. Physical capability to lift 50 lbs. is needed. Safety is our priority, and we provide all necessary precautions and accommodations.
