What You'll Do As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in advancing our next-generation cell analyzers and sorters. Your expertise will drive innovation and ensure the highest performance and reliability of our instruments. Lead technical product development, verification, and validation (V&V) of flow cytometry instruments. Assess design feasibility and test product functionality Develop test methods and protocols to ensure optimal performance. Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for complex instruments. Collaborate across Systems and R&D teams to drive product improvements. Deliver feedback on software workflows and instrument performance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Immunology, Engineering, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering and flow cytometry (including sorting) in academic, pharma, CROs, or industry settings. Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting cell analyzers and sorters. Comfortable working in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) environment. Proficiency in multi-parameter flow cytometry applications and experiment design. Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: Deep expertise in flow cytometry principles and applications (>12 colors) Risk management and design transfer experience Familiarity with multiple sorter platforms, including Cytek Aurora & Spectro-Flo software Experience leading a small team (3-4 members) Proven track record in requirements testing and product development What to Expect in Your Work Environment This role requires working with biological materials (human blood/cells), high-energy lasers, and voltage-based instrumentation.
