Logistics:

This is a full-time position working (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday working on-site, in an office environment.

Location: 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia SC.

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee effective and efficient recruitment activities, managing a high volume of requisitions for repetitive roles, campus recruitment, internships, and entry-level professional positions. The role ensures the timely filling of open positions while remaining compliant with corporate policies, procedures, and relevant government regulations. It also involves employing recruitment strategies to produce a diverse candidate pool, contributing to the organization's overall success.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop staffing plans and pipelining of active and passive talent to generate qualified candidate pools, conduct in-depth screens, and assess for levels of interest, qualifications and salary expectations. Conduct basic sourcing efforts, when needed.

  • Provide support and advises management regarding recruiting plans. Assists management with selection criteria and salary decisions. Trains new management on compliance with corporate policy, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Utilize recruitment tools such as the Human Capital Management (HCM) system for workflow tracking, candidate disposition, offer extension, and new hire documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure all applicable pre-employment checks are completed.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:

Required Education: Bachelor's
Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
Required Work Experience: 2 years human resources experience, preferably with some experience within a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition capacity.
Required Skills and Abilities: Good judgment skills required. Effective customer service, presentation, and organizational skills required. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation and grammar skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills required. Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office.

We Prefer That You Have the Following:
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree-Human Resources/Human Resource Management or Business Administration or Education/Training
Preferred Work Experience: Full life cycle recruiting
Preferred Software and Other Tools: Working knowledge of database software knowledge of access. (Workday, Copilot or LinkedIn Recruiter)
Preferred Licenses and Certificates: AIRS Certifications

Work Environment: Typical office environment. Work may involve some travel between office buildings and some out of town travel. Occasional transport of materials.
