UMSL Police Job Description
Enforces university regulations and city and state laws as they apply to university property and designated areas.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas. Shift
40 hours, rotating shifts Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. A valid Missouri operator's license (for positions at UMKC only, valid Kansas operator's license acceptable). Missouri POST certification may be required prior to employment, but it is required once job is started. Preferred Qualifications
30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university OR 2 years of federal active duty military service with an honorable discharge OR 2 years experience as a full-time POST certified peace officer Anticipated Hiring Range
