SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not require supervisory responsibilities. Keyword: CAD, Intern, DoD, Shelter Required Experience: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary. Ability to adhere to workplace rules. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of technical training or equivalent work experience. Proficient in 2D CAD. Problem-Solving Resolves some problems that are diversified and somewhat complex. Requires judgment in applying or interpreting standard practices to suit special or changing conditions. Fact-finding and analysis are frequently required as information is not always readily available. Can interact with Gichner sources throughout the company to address problems. Decision-Making/ Accountability Requires judgment in coordinating analysis of diverse information, reviewing recommendations, and making decisions to resolve problems. WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Office environment. Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
