Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage Government Contracts, and Subcontracts, ensuring compliance, efficient contract administration, and effective vendor relationships. This role is essential for managing our contractual obligations and ensuring the strategic alignment of contractual terms with corporate goals.

This role will be based out of our corporate office in Chantilly, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; California, MD; Beavercreek, OH; or Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity.


What will you do?

  • Negotiate, administer, and oversee the execution of contracts and subcontracts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government regulations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.
  • As part of the leadership team, contribute to the development of new business strategies, involving complex contractual arrangements.
  • Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training new employees in contract management practices.
  • Resolve conflicts and disputes related to contractual agreements.
  • Conduct regular review sessions to assess the performance of contracts and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
  • At least 5 years' experience within industry (Federal); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive knowledge with all contract types, including, but not limited to: CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FPI, FFP, T&M, L-H, and ID/IQ in a single award and multiple award environment.
  • Contract certifications are highly desirable (i.e. Certified Federal Contracts Manager, Certified Commercial Contracts Manager, Certified Professional Contracts Manager, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resources Planning System, Deltek CostPoint and CRM preferred

  • This position requires a thorough understanding of the complexities within both the US Government and non-government (Industry) sectors, which includes the FAR, DFARs, U.C.C., U.S.C, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and all applicable laws and regulations applicable to same (service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act, etc.) are required.

  • Ability to perform work that involves independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution.

  • DoD Secret Clearance.
  • US Citizen.
