RN - ICU La Jolla Float Pool

This is a Full Time, 12 hour shift, RN opportunity , working DAYS in our ICU Float Pool between our Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Green, and Scripps Encinitas hospitals.

This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $7K

The Site-Based Float Pool at Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Green, and Scripps Encinitas hospitals provides essential nursing support to Intensive Care Units (ICUs). Nurses enjoy flexibility, teamwork, and leadership support while floating between units. As a Critical Care nurse, you'll join a skilled team focused on delivering excellent care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, while evaluating progress towards outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for patient care and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal results in a family-centered environment.

This role requires you to float to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines. Floating to PCU, DOU, Tele, Oncology, MS and other areas may be required

• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:
* One (1) year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU
* California Registered Nurse License
* Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification
* Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
* Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
* NIH Certification
* Six (6) months of RN Progressive Care experience
