A Sales Trainer facilitates a variety of classes within the sales team, collaborates on the design of new course curriculum and the updates to existing course content, while promoting SanMar's culture and mission-putting our people and customers first. What Will You Be Doing?
- Facilitate in person and virtual training classes (i.e., new hire onboarding and supervisor training).
- Collaborate with instructional designers and e-learning production team to maintain training materials, including participant guides, outlines, multimedia visual aids, videos, and tutorials.
- Organize, schedule, prepare training spaces for both physical and virtual sessions, including evening or early morning classes when necessary.
- Exercise independent judgement and proactive problem solving in classroom management techniques and delivery.
- Develop and administer training assessments to evaluate effectiveness and track employee progress.
- Provide management with regular updates on employee progress based on analysis of training outcomes.
- Travel up to 20% for training sessions or events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Training experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development, Training, Adult Learning, or related field.
- Proven experience delivering engaging presentations and facilitating instructor-led training for diverse audiences.
- Experience conducting remote training using tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Webex.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for exploring new training methodologies and technologies.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze information and develop effective training solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including active listening.
- Professional demeanor in appearance, behavior, and interpersonal interactions.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software, with the ability to effectively demonstrate technology. features.
What's Our Offer? Salary Range: You`ll earn between $77,970 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. What Should You Expect? Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area.Employees must be located within a drivable distance to work in our offices based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
