Compensation: $24.78-$24.78/hr

Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift

Skookum is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor with a positive attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross-contamination procedures.
• Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.
• Cleaning halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.
• Cleaning entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Trash - trash in lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker daily. Office areas trash according to schedule.
• Restocking supplies - restock supplies daily.
• Dusting - dusting in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only.
• Cleaning stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule.
• Cleaning portable showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures.
• Maintaining lockers - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all the equipment before storing.
• Wet/Dry mopping-wet/dry mop each floor according to schedule.
• Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule.
• Communicating with customers - always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• 6 months' custodial experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Employees must have the ability to meet the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
• Must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain stamina.

Requirements:

• Valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance carrier.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
