JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the payroll processes and completing orientation for new employees.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • A working knowledge of payroll and HRIS system at a level normally acquired through a completion of a two-year degree in Business Administration; and
  • 2 years' experience processing payroll and data entry.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Process employee timecard entry by Job and Phase code. Verify employee input with Foreman/General Foreman. Develop accrual procedures to ensure timely and accurate data is maintained.



  • Process and complete Certified Payroll.



  • Audit the verification and reconciliation process by ensuring all hours are captured on daily tickets.



  • Coordinate and conduct orientation for field employees.



  • Assist new employees with completing necessary paperwork through UKG.



  • Responsible for weekly time reporting, including labor compliance reporting.



  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and onboarding questions.



  • Schedule and coordinates inspections conducted in the field with Foreman/General Foreman.



  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position)
