About the role:
This position is responsible for driving the analysis and execution of application integration initiatives in support of the development of integrated solution ecosystems for Capital Markets. This senior position is responsible for gathering requirements from product management and working closely with development leaders, defining system mappings, transformations and integration design, and ensuring successful rollouts through close collaboration with engineering, professional services, and support. This BA leader will oversee other business analysts across multiple scrum teams and support their execution on the aforementioned activities, while from time to time applying their own execution efforts for key projects or those needing acceleration.

About the team:

The Capital Markets Solution Ecosystem team is responsible for the design, build, and delivery of integrated solutions tailored to major market segments of Capital Markets, both buy and sell side. The team builds digital connectors between internal products as well as third-party partner solutions using modern integration standards and best practices. In addition, the broader team is responsible for driving the data strategy that underpins the solution ecosystems to streamline data organization and delivery, thereby enabling consolidated reporting and AI use cases.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the translation of strategic business goals into comprehensive product development roadmaps and initiatives, ensuring alignment across multiple solution areas and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the breakdown of complex product development initiatives into actionable work streams, delegating to and supervising business analysts within each scrum team to ensure project success.
  • Serve as a key contact for Ecosystem Managers, Solutions Managers, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Specialists, Scrum Masters, and other senior stakeholders, guiding the end-to-end delivery of integrations and driving strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor business analysts assigned to scrum teams, providing guidance on best practices, detailed design of integrations, and hands-on support when necessary for critical or high-impact initiatives.
  • Define and review the detailed architecture of integrations within assigned solution ecosystems, including oversight of source and target endpoints, workflows, data mappings, and exception handling, while ensuring quality and scalability.
  • Set clear direction and establish success criteria for development teams, proactively removing obstacles and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the validation of business requirement documents and functional specifications, setting quality standards and reviewing business analyst work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with Ecosystem Managers to conduct initial high level sizing assessments of new integration projects being added to the roadmap.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, senior business line leaders, ecosystem managers, and cross-functional partners; validate development initiatives through ongoing feedback and market analysis.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies like AI, championing innovative features and process improvements within the market, and guiding the team in research and validation activities.

This senior position is designed for candidates with a demonstrated track record of leadership in business analysis, a strategic mindset, and the ability to elevate both individual and team performance within a high-impact, fast-paced Capital Markets environment.

What you will need:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent of education experience

* Experience and knowledge of capital markets is required, particularly in areas such as corporate actions / market data, portfolio accounting / operations, trade / security processing, private equity operations/technology.

* Experience designing and/or developing system integrations using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools such as Adeptia, MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.

* Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments simultaneously

* Excellent time management and prioritization skills

* Strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

* Ability to think creatively and problem solve

* Ability to analyze and document complex business processes

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $101,480.00 - $170,470.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
