Information Assurance Analyst

JRAD is seeking candidates for an Information Assurance Analyst position supporting the Joint Project Manager for CBRN Protection (JPM CBRN P) in Stafford, Va. This is a hybrid position at the JPM CBRN P office in Stafford, VA with a twice a week onsite requirement.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to provide cyber security and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support.
• Support the authoring of documentation and artifacts for programs in support of the RMF process in order to obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Provide the lead ISSM with an accurate cyber security risk assessment for IT programs.
• Support technical reviews and provide design/interface recommendations on developmental programs with respect to cyber security such as incorporating the NIST 800-53 security controls and Security Technical installation Guidelines (STiGs).
• Support the updating of government systems with certification and accreditation data such as Marine Corps Certification and Accreditation System Tool (MCCAST) and eMASS.
• Support the interfacing with outside organizations to resolve issues and barriers with systems going through the certification and accreditation process.
• Support program-level IPTs for systems engineering, program management, test and evaluation, risk management, and configuration management.

Required Skills and Education:

• Must possess bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
• Have, or shall obtain within 6 months after assignment, personnel certifications in accordance with DoD Manual 8140.03, at no cost to the Government. Certification(s) must be maintained during employment. Accepted Certifications include:
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO)
  • Federal IT Security Professional - Manager (FITSP-M)
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
  • GIAC, Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
  • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
  • Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Security Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and retain a DoD Secret clearance.
