0.5-0.75 FTE - Rotating Shifts

Starting Pay - $23.38 - $29.23 (Based on Experience)

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in sports science, athletic training, exercise physiology or exercise science or strength and conditioning or related field required
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year experience in the field of sports medicine training and/or a minimum of one year experience in sports performance training for athletes preferred
  • Experience with using a variety of sports performance equipment and programming
  • One of the following certifications within six months of hire required:



    • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)


      • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or
      • Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F)


    • National Academy of Sports Medicine


      • Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)


    • Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association


      • Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or
      • Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC)




Job Responsibilities:



  • Establishes program content and outcomes.
  • Establishes timelines and deadlines for program development.
  • Clear communication skills both oral and written.
  • Works with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Representation of OMC as an educator, professional in the community, and at conferences.
  • Aligns organizational needs with the Athletic Performance programs.
  • Stays current with sports medicine and athletic performance practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
