Senior Quality Engineer (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office.

This role will work closely with Manager, Developers, Development leads, Business Analysts and other project team members in defining, creating, executing and maintaining various aspects of Salesforce integrations and web app testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute detailed test cases based on functional specifications
  • Develop test plans and test strategy documents based on business requirements
  • Review test plans with project team and garner feedback
  • Modify and maintain existing test cases as needed based on updated functionality
  • Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, system, regression and user acceptance testing
  • Report, review and retest defects and ensure that all important defects have been resolved at the appropriate level prior to product release
  • Participate in defect triage discussions
  • Automate test cases using industry standard tools as required by the project

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of testing web-based and/or mobile applications

Preferred Skills:

  • 7 + years of experience testing web-based applications
  • Strong experience in test automation using Python and Selenium.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud and Conga.
  • Strong Knowledge of Salesforce testing strategies, integration testing and API testing.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have experience working with geographically spread-out teams
  • Experience using SQL scripts to query databases is a plus
  • Salesforce certification (Sales Certified Administrator, Sales Certified Associate) is a plus
