Part time Research Associate, UMKC School of Science & Engineering

The part time Research Associate position at 57% FTE (23 hours/week) will be responsible for the following. This is a temporary position for 3 months.

• Run samples and train persons on SEM/EDS system and X ray Diffraction.
• Troubleshoot issues and arrange for billing with equipment.
• Coordinate visits and training of others in Sutton Geosciences Museum
• Other duties as assigned

PhD in science. Extensive experience on SEM/EDS system, X ray Diffraction, and understanding of rock, mineral and fossils.

$28/hour
